Taj Mahal was built by Shah Jahan in the memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal in Agra and it is declared as one of the Seven Wonders of the World. The marbles used in the construction of Taj Mahal Agra was brought from various countries like China, Tibet, Afghanistan, Srilanka, Arabia and even from different states of India, says Rajasthan, Punjab etc.

Later in the year 2000, litigation was filed on Supreme Court that the Taj Mahal Agra was built by a Hindu king but attributed to Muslims, it is said that the construction, historic structures were looks like it was built by pre-muslim time. Then enquires were made on behalf of Supreme Court in this regard and finally Supreme Court dismissed the litigation and hence it is not proved.
